Parkview

Parkview is one of Edmonton's more exclusive west-central neighbourhoods, known for spacious estate homes and an elevated setting above the river valley ravine. It feels private and secluded, a community of larger houses on generous lots where the streetscape is calm and unhurried.

The elevated position is Parkview's defining pleasure, offering river valley views and a sense of retreat while remaining central. Downtown is roughly twelve to fifteen minutes away and the University of Alberta ten to twelve, though the neighbourhood trades walkable commercial amenities for its quiet and its outlook.

Homes here date largely from the 1950s through the 1970s and sit on some of the larger lots in the west-central area, with condition, updates and views shaping much of the range. Parkview suits buyers who want an estate-home feel with river valley views and are comfortable driving to shops and services rather than walking to them.
